Co-President, Board of Directors & Director-General
Kyumin is a student at Mount Douglas Secondary School and VIHSMUN’s Director-General. He brings three years of Model UN experience as a delegate and staff member to shaping an engaging first conference.

Eli is a Grade 12 student and co-founder of VIHSMUN. After more than 16 Model UN conferences as a delegate and staff member, he leads the team’s work on sponsors, programming, and the inaugural conference.

Oliver leads conference operations. A former Pacific Christian School MUN Club delegate who has attended regional and international conferences, he wants every delegate to leave with new confidence and connections.

Chief of Staff
After working with a supportive group of delegates to combat human trafficking and slavery within global mining operations at her first conference this year, Sabrina Guerrero was introduced to the immersive world of Model UN. Her passion for global affairs and debate sparked her commitment to continuing this journey, and therefore Sabrina is delighted for the opportunity to serve as Chief of Staff for VIHSMUN 2027. While her Model UN journey has only begun this year, the many conferences she has attended have inspired her to create an educational and enjoyable conference environment for all delegates. When she is not busy raising her placard to motion for a 10:1 moderated caucus, Sabrina enjoys playing the guitar, painting cool things she finds in nature, and obsessively watching The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She is looking forward to meeting the staff team and delegates, and wishes everyone who attends VIHSMUN the best experience.
Under-Secretary-General, Media & Design + IT
A senior from the Metro Vancouver area, Michael is super excited to be serving as VIHSMUN’s Under-Secretary-General of Media & Design + IT. Basically, if something involves a website, a camera, or a computer that has decided to stop working, it’ll probably become his problem… Michael got into Model UN through CAIMUN 2026’s video team and just kept showing up after. Since then, he’s been to nearly every MUN Vancouver has to offer. At VIHSMUN, he runs the website and handles anything media-related, with the occasional IT emergency thrown in for fun. Outside of MUN, Michael is also a student pilot and spends a concerning amount of his money on airplanes. Somehow, him flying a plane is completely legal..
Under-Secretary-General, Committees
A Grade 11 student at McMath Secondary School, Erin is ecstatic to serve as the Under-Secretary-General of Committees at VIHSMUN. Her MUN journey began when she picked countries based solely on their Eurovision songs, a strategy she will defend to this day. Since then, her passion has turned into crafting speeches with handwriting even she can’t read, full of references that maybe three delegates will recognize. Outside of committee rooms, Erin can be found learning languages, exploring random rabbit holes, and eating her way through Metro Vancouver alongside her friends. At VIHSMUN, she looks forward to a conference of fruitful debate, meaningful discourse, and many unforgettable memories.
Under-Secretary-General, Crisis
A Grade 10 student at St. Michael’s University School, Jacob is ecstatic to be Under-Secretary-General of Crisis this iteration. Since his first shaky speech, Jacob has grown to love Model UN, whether it be for the debate or the people. Outside of sending joke directives to his dais, Jacob can be seen maintaining his #1 Rhythm Typer standing for Canada, LARPing as an Asian, and making parodies that flop like his dad jokes. He is extremely excited to see what you make of the conference.
Under-Secretary-General, General Assemblies
Heading into her junior year at Mount Douglas Secondary School, Carys is thrilled to be serving as Under-Secretary-General of General Assemblies for VIHSMUN 2027. Since raising her placard at her first conference with barely any idea what a moderated caucus was, to surviving her first overnight conference fueled by far too many caffeinated beverages, she has fallen in love with the exhilarating debate, diplomacy, and even the inevitable stress of position-paper deadlines. Above all, Carys most treasures the lifelong friendships she has made through Model UN. Outside of committee sessions filled with rigorous discussion, Carys can be found procrastinating on homework, squeezing in cello practice minutes before a lesson, or binge-watching her favorite comfort shows on Netflix. She hopes every delegate leaves VIHSMUN 2027 with not only stronger debating skills but also unforgettable memories, meaningful connections, and a passion for Model UN that lasts long after the conference ends.
Under-Secretary-General, Operations
As a Grade 9 student at Royal Bay High School, Doyeon Kim is excited to serve as the Under-Secretary-General of Operations for VIHSMUN 2027. Since beginning her Model United Nations journey in Grade 7, she has developed a strong interest in diplomacy, debate, and the community that MUN creates. Although she is still growing in her MUN journey, each conference and experience has helped her become more confident in public speaking, collaboration, and understanding global issues from different perspectives. Outside of the committee room, Doyeon enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and playing games with her brother. She is honoured to be part of VIHSMUN’s first conference and looks forward to helping delegates feel welcomed, engaged, and inspired throughout their MUN experience.

Imanzi leads Outreach. A longtime Model UN participant, he is focused on making the conference welcoming, clear, and memorable for every delegate.

General Secretariat Member
Kieran is a General Secretariat Member. His first Model UN experience was online in Grade 6; he now brings years of committee experience and a love of fast-paced debate to VIHSMUN.

Entering her junior year at Queen Margaret’s School, Victoria is honoured to serve as a member of VIHSMUN’s Secretariat. Ever since she attended her first conference two years ago, she has cultivated her passion for debate and political science through MUN. The lively debates, comprehensive resolutions, and thousands of scribbled notes continue to inspire her, and she is ecstatic to bring her passion and experiences to this conference. Victoria looks forward to welcoming all delegates to the committee room and hopes they will leave with many meaningful memories.
